LIFELINE AND SINGLE ANCHOR POINTS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

Client: PCPO Trivia

Partner: AllRisk valbeveiliging

Country: The Netherlands

Solution: Horizontal lifeline systems (★★★) and single anchor points (★★)

PCPO Trivia operates fifteen Christian elementary schools, many of which require safe access to the roof. On this roof, a fall protection solution was needed for the maintenance of the solar panels and other work near the roof edge.

In this case, AllRisk valbeveiliging installed a short XSLinked lifeline trajectory. The base plates were covered by the roofing material to prevent leaks. An additional anti-pendulum anchor (XSGlobe) was placed at the roof corner. To limit swing fall hazard, users connected to the lifeline loop their lanyard through the anti-pendulum anchors.

Without proper fall protection, this roof could not be equipped with solar panels. But thanks to this simple but effective safe access method, the solar panels on this roof can work at maximum efficiency.
