TEMPORARY LIFELINE WITH ANTI-PENDULUM ANCHORS

Client: PCPO Trivia

Partner: AllRisk valbeveiliging

Country: The Netherlands

Solution: Single anchor points + anti-pendulum (★★), can be used with a temporary lifeline (★)

On the roof of an elementary school in Holland, maintenance work occasionally takes place near the roof edge. The height of the roof exceeds 2,5 meters, which—in the Netherlands—means that a fall protection solution is required.

AllRisk valbeveiliging proposed a solution that complies to the applicable rules & regulations: strategically placed single anchor points, with specials rings around them to make sure the XSGlobes can rotate freely. To access areas of the roof where there is swing fall hazard, users connect their lanyard to anti-pendulum anchors.

Workers have to adjust the length of their lanyard manually, which requires a certain level of user knowledge. The single anchor points in the middle of the roof could be connected with a temporary lifeline for increased freedom of movement.
