HORIZONTAL WALL SYSTEM FOR CHRISTIAN SCIENCE BUILDING IN BOSTON

Partner: American Anchor

Country: United States of America

Solution: Horizontal lifeline system for wall (★★★)

The windows of this building are set in at an angle and located underneath an overhang with a ledge below, so window cleaners couldn’t get in there with an aerial platform or roof car. Therefore a person must physically walk on the ledge, with nothing to tie off to. Therefore the American Anchor team has installed a horizontal lifeline system onto the concrete pillars next to the ledge so that workers can safely wash the windows and access the exterior accent lights for repairs.
