Glass canopies can require a great amount of maintenance and cleaning, especially when positioned next to a busy road or, in this case, a parking lot. Walking on a glass canopy for these purposes brings certain risks, such as slipping or fall through hazards. At a local shopping center in Assen, a facility manager was confronted with this situation and found a solution.

Supported by ODIN calculations, Skysafe valbeveiliging installed a custom fall protection solution by mounting an XSLinked system on the canopy of the existing structure.

Once again, this project proves the importance and value of consulting a fall protection specialist, enabling the client to ensure a safe working environment on their glass canopy. A combination of innovativeness, subtlety and aesthetics are combined in this solution to let the bright daylight shining inside the shopping center.
