Location: Spain

Solutions: Lifeline (★★★), single anchor points (★★) + wall lifeline

Palacio del Marqués de Malpica is a prime example of Renaissance architecture in the old town of Toledo, Spain. This is a unique landmark where frequent access to the roof is required, however guardrails are not an option.

XSPlatforms has designed an ingenious solution that allows a lifeline system to be installed on the structure underlying the roof tiles. This way, the roof of this landmark can be accessed safely for maintenance. In addition to a lifeline system, single anchor points and a wall lifeline are installed to access all the areas that require maintenance.

This unique fall protection solution provides safe access to the roof so that  the old architecture of the palace can be maintained and kept clean by workers that are securely anchored.
