XStop Fall Arrest Devices

A retractable fall arrest device works like a seatbelt. Its cable unrolls as the user moves further away, but the device immediately blocks if a fall accident occurs.

An XStop fall arrest device includes a quick-action braking system. This ensures that the shock on the body of the user (experienced when a fall is arrested) remains limited to about 4,5 – 5 kN: an amount that will not cause permanent damage.
