Mentor Medical Systems B.V. is the Dutch branch of Mentor Worldwide LLC, a supplier for surgeons. Frequent access to the roofs of their facility in Leiden is required because of the equipment there.

The architect contacted AllRisk valbeveiliging for a safety solution that would have no negative impact on the visual appearance of the building. This resulted in a large project which involved different types of XSGuardrails, which were coated to suit the colors of the building. At some points, custom-made parts were used to fit the XSGuardrails around the various tubes on the roof.

The project involved both freestanding XSGuardrails (XSCurved to accentuate the building design) and XSGuardrails fixed to the parapet (XSParapet). The end result is a fall prevention solution that suits the building design.
