SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY AT LOCAL SOCCER CLUB

Partner: AllRisk valbeveiliging

Country: The Netherlands

Solution: Horizontal lifeline systems (★★★) with XSGlobe anti-pendulum anchors

Safety and sustainability go hand in hand, as proven by an installation our Dutch Partner AllRisk valbeveiliging recently completed for a local soccer club in Rotterdam, Neptunus-Schiebroek.

In collaborations with various local organizations Neptunus-Schiebroek is looking to become “the most sustainable club” of Rotterdam. To achieve this they have recently replaced the lights along the main field for more efficient LED lighting. Additionally approx. 138 solar panels were installed on the roof of their 56 meter (184 feet) long changing room building.

To provide maintenance personnel with safe access to the PV-panels and systems on this building, AllRisk installed approx. 45 meter (148 feet) of horizontal lifeline systems between the solar panels. Additionally 4 XSGlobe anchor points where installed on the corners of the building to serve as anti-pendulum anchors to prevent potential swing falls.
