Sif Group is a leading company in producing steel foundations for oil and gas platforms, as well as offshore wind turbines. Their new establishment is located at Maasvlakte 2, a part of Europe’s largest sea port: The Port of Rotterdam.

Maasvlakte 2 opened in 2013, adding 20% (approx. 2.000 acres) to the size of the original port. The location is known for its innovative character and building projects, which call for innovative safety solutions.

Our Partner, Kempen Cladding, installed a total of 5 XSLinked horizontal lifeline systems on the 20.250m2 roof. Combined the systems exist of 85 anchor points and 1072 meters of lifeline, providing safe access to the gutters and skylights in order to do maintenance work.
