LIFELINE SYSTEMS AND ANCHOR POINTS FOR ALUMINUM PROCESSING COMPANY

Partner: AllRisk valbeveiliging

Country: The Netherlands

Solution: XSLinked horizontal lifeline system (★★★) and XSGlobe anchor points (★★)

For the renovation of four roofs of an aluminum processing company in Son, the Netherlands, Van Hoek dakbedekkingen, a Dutch roofing company, was looking for a reliable solution for fall protection. Our Partner AllRisk offered a trustworthy XSPlatforms solution for the project. In 2012 they installed 3 XSLinked horizontal lifeline systems with approximately 230 meters (755 feet) of steel wire-rope.

Due to height differences and protruding fire partitioning walls a number of XTensions were used. The XTensions increase the height of the lifeline systems at crucial locations so that the lifeline does not come in contact with the roof surface unnecessarily, thus preventing damage to the wire-rope and the roof.

In addition to the XSLinked systems, 11 separate XSGlobe anchor points have been installed for the purpose of work positioning and preventing swing falls.
