Solution: Custom anchor points with temporary lifeline (★)

For a big international data center near Amsterdam’s main airport, our Partner AllRisk has made a risk assessment for ten cooling installations. This resulted in the installation of 40 custom anchor points – 4 per installation – combined with the use of two temporary lifelines, one on each side of the installation.

To maintain or repair the big fans on top of these installations, safe access is needed. Due to the lack of installation space for a general fall protection system, the preexisting lifting points were used to mount custom anchor plates on.

This custom system is used as a fall restraint installation. The user is attached to the temporary lifeline by means of a forked lanyard or two restraint lanyards (one to each side).
