SOLUTIONS FOR WORKING SAFE AT HEIGHT
At XSPlatforms, your safety is our priority. Our team of experts collaborates closely with partners and clients to develop customized solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing structures, ensuring optimal safety without compromising productivity. With a steadfast focus on innovation, we continuously evolve our technologies to address emerging industry challenges and provide unparalleled protection for workers at height.
Fall protection systems on roofs are crucial for keeping workers safe when they’re working at heights. XSPlatforms provides effective roof safety solutions that prevent falls and protect workers that deal with fall-hazzards every day. We offer sturdy guardrail systems to shield roof edges, Rail and Lifeline systems to prevent or to catch falls, and personal fall arrest systems (PFAS) and fall protection systems that cover the safety against fall-through hazzards.
All these solutions meet strict safety standards, ensuring workers can do their jobs confidently and securely. By using XSPlatforms’ systems, companies not only comply with regulations but also prioritize the well-being of their workforce.
XSPLATFORMS ROOF SAFETY SOLUTIONS
COMPLIANT, STURDY, EASY TO INSTALL AND EASY TO USE
These solutions are ideally suited for EVERY task at height, industry and compliance. Each system is rigorously tested under real working conditions and all tests are independently reviewed.
GUARDRAILS FOR ROOFS
Edge protection, also known as guardrails, is designed to provide workers at height with a safe zone where there is no risk of falling. In this way, the risk of falling from a roof is completely eliminated. With this modular system, a wide variety of roof types can be secured, including bitumen, PVC roofs, trapezoidal profiles, and standing seam profiles.
RAIL SYSTEM FOR ROOFS
When a guardrail system is not feasible, the safe zone on the roof will shrink by about 4 meters (13 ft) from the roof edge. Individuals can only venture outside the safe zone if they are tethered to an anchor point or a fall protection system such as a Rail system or Lifeline system.
The XSRail system from XSPlatforms bends less in the event of a fall accident compared to a lifeline system; this results in a shorter fall distance. This makes the XSRail extremely suitable for projects and situations where limited fall height is available.
The system on roofs is mounted on a series of XSBase plate base plates that form the connection between the roof and the track.
LIFELINE SYSTEMS FOR ROOFS
In a horizontal lifeline system, a user wears a harness attached to a safety line connected to a traveler (XSSlider) on a permanent lifeline. Through modular components, the lifeline is tensioned between a start, intermediate, and end anchor point.
The horizontal lifeline systems from XSPlatforms are developed and tested according to the highest international safety standards. This allows them to be installed on roofs, walls, or overhead structures such as ceilings. The user’s lifeline is connected to the horizontal lifeline through a traveler, the slider, which moves along the lifeline.
ROOF ANCHOR POINTS
XSPlatforms offers these anchor solutions for both flat and slightly sloping roofs (up to 15°). XSPlatforms’ fall protection systems provide for this with a selection of three different roof base plates: the XSBase plate, XSMD, and XTrusion. Each of the base plates below is designed for certain types of roofs and can be combined with various attachment points to create a freestanding anchor point. By using fall protection PPE, the user can secure themselves to the anchor point.
